The CrysAlis Software Suite for Area and Point Detector
Measurements - Open Source Option and User Modifications. Mathias Meyer,
Oxford Diffraction Poland Sp. z o.o., Software Group, Rogowska 127a, Wroclaw, DW
54-440 POLAND.
The CrysAlis software handles the various goniometers (KM4,
KM6, STADI4) and detector types (traditional point detector, crystal analyser,
beam monitor, image plates (MAR), CCD detectors (Sapphire 1, 2, 3 and Onyx)) as
well as experimental environment tools (CryoJet, HeliJet, x-ray generators,
process coolers). It provides a rich set of crystallographic analysis tools
ranging from absorption, lattice finding, data reduction, space group
determination, reciprocal space unwarping and image processing tools. Experiment
planning tools (Optimizer, hkl generator) help to setup efficient and optimal
experiments.
The software handles experiments with up to 3 q-vectors, high
pressure point and area detector experiments, vertical and horizontal
diffraction (6-circle).
For specialist requirements we offer the CrysAlis software as
an open source option to support user extensions. The user can extend the system
by so-called plugins, which dynamically link to the system and extend its
capabilities.
The talk introduces the CrysAlis open software option and the
plugin extensions.
