Experimental techniques (X-ray diffraction, DSC and spectral
methods) and computational approaches (molecular and crystal structure modeling,
and crystal habit modeling) have been applied to a large series of organic
compounds forming polymorphs and polytypes. Examples of concomitant polymorphism
and induced conformational polymorphism are presented. Influence of
crystallization conditions and hydrogen bonds on crystal structure and crystal
habit for crystals build of polar organic molecules is discussed.
