BioCARS has developed a database driven data collection tool that can be interfaced to a variety of experiments. Techniques supported with a web based interface include monochromatic and MAD crystallography, time-resolved Laue crystallography, and high pressure powder and single crystal diffraction. In addition, non-web based interfaces such as alignment procedures can be set up, tested, and implemented using these same techniques. Combining this database driven approach with data collection interfaces developed at other synchrotron radiation sources is being actively explored.
