Big, Weird, Twinned, Strange and Otherwise "Problem" Structures Done This Year. Patrick J. Carroll, Dept. of Chemistry, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

A collection of interesting structures from the past year done in the X-ray Facility in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania are presented. The structures illustrate the capabilities of the facility’s Rigaku Mercury CCD detector. Included are some big structures, several twins, a couple structures with Z’>>1 and a few structures that are difficult to classify, including some “unsolved” (or, at least, “unfinished”) problem structures.
