 We regret to inform you that Louis Delbaere (Univ. of Saskatoon) passed away suddenly yesterday in Mississauga, Ontario. He was returning to Saskatoon from an ACA meeting in Buffalo over the weekend. At the end, Louis felt no pain and was surrounded by his family - his wife Carol, his son Christian and his daughter Michelle. Funeral arrangements are being made for Louis in Saskatoon. The Canadian and world wide community of crystallography has lost a colleague, friend and spokesman on the world stage. He will be missed.
