X29 is an advanced undulator beamline for X-ray crystallography that
operates at the National Synchrotron Light Source, Brookhaven National
Laboratory (Long Island, NY). Case Western Reserve University and the Case
Center for Synchrotron Biosciences is a PRT member of the beamline and is
interested in making beam time available under a number of highly efficient
user access mechanisms. We guarantee strong beamline support by experienced
beamline scientists and engineers. Both commercial and non-commercial users
are welcome.
X29 is designed for easy operation and allows for highly efficient structure
determination by SAD or MAD. It provides high-flux X-rays in the energy
range of 7-15.9 keV, covering the absorption edges of most of the heavy
atoms commonly used in structure phasing. For more information on X29 and
